Join us for our 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽🩸 which will be led by Diabetes Support Group Coordinator Sandra Fleischman CPSS, CHW from Sanilac County Community Mental Health.

Managing type 1 or type 2 diabetes can be challenging, from monitoring blood sugar levels to making lifestyle adjustments, but having a support network makes a world of difference. A diabetes support group connects you with others who share similar experiences, offering emotional support, practical tips, and encouragement. It's a space to ask questions, share challenges, celebrate victories, and learn from healthcare professionals and peers who understand the complexities of living with diabetes. Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been managing diabetes for years, a support group provides valuable resources, reduces feelings of isolation, and helps you stay motivated on your journey to better health.

This group isn't just for community members with diabetes. We also welcome all the caregivers, healthcare providers, friends, and family members of those connected to someone with diabetes. Attending this group is a great opportunity to learn more about how your loved one navigates living with diabetes.

This group will meet on the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m at the Sandusky First United Methodist Church. This is a FREE group to attend, but registration is required by calling 🤳810-648-0592. Online registration is also available at
