Family & Friends of Loved Ones with BPD (In-Person Class)

Loving someone with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) can be confusing, intense and sometimes painful. This brief, 4-session educational series is designed to increase understanding of BPD* and equip family and friends with tools for coping effectively. Participants will learn about the symptoms and causes of BPD as well as coping tools. Weekly sessions will be a combination of education and discussion.

Adolescents are allowed but must be 16 years of age or older.

SESSION SCHEDULE:
(6:00 - 7:30 PM)
June 2 - Understanding BPD and its Causes
June 9 - Mindfulness in Relationships
June 16 - Communication Skills
June 23 - Validation Skills

FACILITATOR:
John Buell, DTLLP

COST:
$125 for the entire series for the first family member; $75 for each additional member of the same family.

*This program follows a 4 session curriculum with participants starting at Week 1. Late or partial enrollment is not allowed as each session builds on the previous one.

**This class is NOT recommended for those with a family member in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) treatment unless they are also diagnosed with BPD, since this class is specific to BPD and not DBT.
