Calling all Water Guardians!
Please help us with our next clean up of Lake Horton on Saturday, June 28th at 8 am
Residents who have access to kayaks and canoes are encouraged to assist with the cleaning of the Lake Horton reservoir. Those without a kayak or canoe are also welcomed to pick up the trash along the banks of the lakes and nearby trails!
Interested participants can register for this clean up event by emailing your name, daytime phone number, contact email address, and t-shirt size to d2F0ZXJndWFyZGlhbnNmYXlldHRlIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20=
Remember also to bring your life vest, sun screen and a hat the day of the event along with your completed waiver. We will also have copies of the waiver available at the event. If you have already received your 2025 volunteer t-shirt, please wear it to the. event. In the case of rain, all registered participants will be notified via email with a rescheduled time and date.
Please meet at 8 am in the West Boat Ramp with the pavilion. Visitors will pass the entrance gates and turn right which will lead them to this parking lot. We will serve light refreshments towards the end of the event and also have plenty of bottled water and supplies on hand.
