Once A Swedish Queen, Always a Swedish Queen-Photoshoot with past Swedish Queens

The Thorsby Swedish Festival Queens are so excited to announce details for our photo shoot with past Swedish Queens. Asa Sjostrom, a Swedish photojournalist, will be visiting Thorsby for a few weeks around pageant and festival time. We are honored that she will be taking the pictures.
We ask all past Swedish Queens to attend. You are special to us and are apart of our Swedish Festival history. The pageant and festival is 37 years old this year!
Please wear a nice Sunday dress and your crown and sash. (If you don’t have your crown and sash anymore it’s ok.) Please make sure hair looks nice and please wear make-up for this photo shoot.
We will all meet at Richard Wood Park in Thorsby at 4:45pm, on Sept. 27, and more specific instructions will be given, at that time, as to where we will take the pictures in Thorsby. If for some reason it is raining, a rain plan will be in place and announced on our fb page and in this event. We also plan to have a special gift to give all past queens on this special day.
If you will notice the cover photo for this event. Pictured is the first Swedish crown, on the left, worn by Angie Logan Scott, our first Miss Swedish, and then you notice the crown now.
