Girl Scouts Adventures on the Go: Stand Up Paddle and Sandcastles at Sunset Beach!
Join us at Sunset Beach Swimming Facility to try paddleboarding for free and learn about Girl Scouts. We'll have a sandcastle building contest with prizes.

This event is for girls interested in learning more about Girl Scouts and all the fun things we do. Try out stand-up paddleboards on a safe beach with a lifeguard present. A caregiver must attend with each child. The event is open to girls in grade school, accompanied by a caregiver.
Program Manager, Bethany McAnally, is a certified lifeguard and lifeguard instructor. She also holds certifications in first aid, wilderness, and wilderness first responder. She grew up as a Girl Scout in our council and has spent many summers working at Camp Birch Trails as a wilderness trip program leader. Bethany is passionate about outdoor adventure and education and is excited to bring new opportunities to Girl Scouts.
