Greater Huntington Jazz Band & Symphonic Band

The Ironton Council for the Arts is proud to co-sponsor the 3rd annual Patriotic Concert featuring the Greater Huntington Jazz and Symphonic bands. The 20+ member jazz band, most of whom are also in the symphonic band, performs standard big band/swing and jazz rock musical arrangements. The symphonic band, consisting of 50+ members, performs standard concert band arrangements spanning several musical styles. Both groups will perform arrangements of patriotic standards. In addition to the annual patriotic concert, both groups typically jointly perform a spring concert, a fall pops concert, and a Christmas concert at various Tri-State venues.
