Philomath Frolic & Rodeo -Opening Night

The 72nd Annual Philomath Frolic and Rodeo's opening rodeo performance is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Voted the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association (NPRA) Rodeo-of-the-Year eight times over, the Frolic features all your favorite rode events from roping and barrel racing to saddle bronc and bull riding. Come watch the best cowboys and cowgirls in the Northwest go up against the award-winning B-D stock.

You'll also enjoy great food vendors, crafts and information booths, and a free Kids Korner.

This year, the Frolic Fish Rodeo will be moving from Saturday afternoon to Thursday night, 5:30-6:30. For just $8, kids 12 and under can wade through the 1' deep fish pond and catch a 9"-12" rainbow trout with their bare hands! Once caught, we'll clean and it grill it for you to eat. Only 200 tickets available.

After the rodeo, adults (21 and older) with a rodeo ticket are welcome to join the after party in the Yew Wood Coral Beer Garden. Enjoy a fun atmosphere under the stars with music, dancing, food, drinks, and lots of fun.

Tickets for the NPRA Rodeo Performance, fish rodeo, and all other Frolic events go on sale June 3rd.
