Annual Contoocook River Paddle

Bennington Conservation Commission is once again sponsoring its highly successful annual River paddle on the Contoocook River. Open to anyone with an interest in canoeing or kayaking, the group will meet at the Hancock/Greenfield Covered Bridge. Participants need to bring their own kayak or canoe, personal flotation equipment, sunscreen, hat, and water.
The intention is that we will paddle north into Powder Mill Pond, however depending on weather conditions, we may south toward Peterborough. We should complete the paddle around noon, returning to the boat landing at Forest Road.
