What’s the difference between TOT and Leader Training Workshop (LTW)?
In a one-day Leader Training Workshop (LTW), you will learn how to present parenting education programs to parents in your community. At the 3-day TOT, you will learn how to train parenting education leaders. Upon completion of requirements, you will be authorized to conduct LTWs.
What will I learn at the Training of Trainers?
You will explore Active Parenting principles in general, and how to apply them to our suite of three parenting programs: Active Parenting: First Five Years, Active Parenting 4th Edition, and Active Parenting of Teens. (Information learned in this course can also be applied to the Spanish editions.) Click here for complete details and the agenda.
Note: A one-day Leader Training Workshop or Webinar (LTW) in one of the core programs is required before taking the Training of Trainers. If you haven’t already taken an LTW, you can register for a live webinar or complete the self-study course.
In general, this course helps you to:
• Gain a deeper knowledge of the programs
• Learn how to train leaders in the programs
• Improve presentation skills
• Find ways to make the programs fit your audience
