Annual Midsummer Mothing Muster - i.e. observing moths at night

Hope to see moths at night?
This year again we will do an informal MMM gathering (Midsummer Mothing Muster), in the Greenspace between 62 Ridge Rd. and 8 Laurel Hill Rd. (enter on the left of 62 Ridge Rd.)
If parking is difficult, you can use the elementary school parking at 66 Ridge.
We will ask that everyone remains fairly QUIET, so that we do not bother the neighbors (people, moths, owls etc...)
Careful, the grassy area of the common area is very uneven. Watch your step - and balance. Bring a flash light if needed.
We will setup a mothing sheet. i.e. we hang a white cloth between 2 trees and shine a black light on it to attract and observe moths. There MAY be more moths late in the night.
Bring a chair if you want, and maybe your own beverage and/or the snack you dream of (but not too much as there won't be space for it)
