St. Tammany Parish Mosquito Abatement Open House

St. Tammany Parish Mosquito Abatement is holding an Open House on June 21 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Fun for the whole family! There will be lots of fun activities: you can hunt for larvae, identify adult mosquitoes, tour the lab and insectary, see a drone demonstration, get up close to the plane, helicopter, trucks, airboats and other equipment used in the field. Learn about how your tax dollars work to keep the mosquito population under control and talk to experts about mosquitoes and ways that you can protect yourself!
