Wildlife "Bioblitz" Afternoon

Join us, 1pm onwards, on Sunday afternoon June 22nd playing games, making crafts and learning about Flora and Fauna in High Toynton Churchyard. This small enclosed wilderness has been much battered recently with the collapse of the tower 5 years ago and the subsequent advent of builders over the last 6 months. Scaffolding is now down and it is time to identify and review the state of the wild flowers, invertebrates and creatures for whom this is home, such as this bat. (See photo). He has had a special hole carved for him in the new wall of the church. This photo catches him inspecting his new front door! This is a FREE event. Donations welcome.

Fiona Beemster and her team will make this an exciting and rewarding afternoon. There will be refreshments served over the road at the studio. "
