Yin and Tonic ..... self care for body and soul

Treat yourself to a morning of self care and deep relaxation.

We'll begin with a gentle yin yoga practice, suitable for all. No experience of yin yoga or any other style of yoga necessary. If you already practise yoga but are new to yin yoga, you're in for a treat. Yin works by targeting the fascia tissues of the body, and the asanas (poses) are fewer but held for longer. Everybody finds their limit in each pose, with no forcing or pushing, and it's all about how it feels, rather than how it looks.

Then, after a short break and a drink, relax fully for a sound bath. Immerse yourself in soothing sound waves of a range of sound therapy instruments. As we are mostly made of water, the vibrations travel quicker through your cells, balancing and restoring energy and promoting well being both physically and emotionally.

The morning will include some meditation, pranayama (breathwork), poetry and a cuppa and homemade snacks.

Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat or camping mat. I have lots of spares here if anyone needs to borrow one. Also, bring a blanket and pillow/cushions to be comfortable lying down for the sound bath.
