Sunset Organ Vespers - 2025

For the July Organ Vespers, Leah Martin will play an organ transcription of “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. This arrangement, by Jonathan Scott, imitates the orchestral texture and the profound magnificence of the original symphony. The program also features an organ transcription of Debussy’s Clair de Lune, Albinoni’s Adagio in G Minor, and Duruflé’s variations on the chant 'Veni Creator.’

Leah will also be joined by vocalists Graham and Robin Bier, and Sarah Martin on cello.

Scriptural and doctrinal readings will be interspersed between pieces for reflection during the music.

Vesper Services are suitable for individuals aged 12 and above. Doors open at 7:10 pm. Donations are welcome.
