Whether you’re just learning to roll or already landing tricks, you’ll benefit from small group coaching from Slothy from Slothys Skate Lessons and Taniah & Mikayla from Fastplant Skateboarding. They'll be on-site skating alongside participants, offering guidance, personalized tips, and running spontaneous challenges with prizes and incentives to keep things exciting.
Jesse Noonan from Skate Advantage will be running Adaptive Skateboarding from 10am to 12pm.
Throughout the day, skaters can take part in skill-building sessions and contests like the Mini Ramp Duet, Longest Grind, and Best Fly Out, designed to highlight individual talent and creativity. The day is structured with both scheduled coaching blocks and plenty of free skate time, plus fun games and contests where “Boardstore Bucks” will be handed out to reward good vibes and great skating. Non-skaters won’t be left out—there will be games and challenges for families and spectators too.
Don’t forget: everyone who wants to skate must register, sign a waiver, and grab an armband on arrival. No cost, just good times—see you at the park!
