DRUM TAO has captivated over 9 million global spectators with their extraordinary performances, blending powerful Wadaiko drums with the enchanting melodies of Japanese flutes and harps. This “Japanese Entertainment” redefines expectations for a new generation. Their acclaimed production, “MANGEKYO,” launched in Tokyo in 2017, became a hit among international tourists and has run in their exclusive theater from April 2019, coinciding with the Tokyo Olympics. In 2018, they performed at the “Japonism 2018” opening in Paris and alongside the Bolshoi Ballet for “Japan Year in Russia” in Moscow. Honored with awards like the “Outstanding Cultural Contribution” from Oita Prefecture, “Culture Creators Award” from Taketa City, and prestigious Japanese government accolades, DRUM TAO continues to shine on the world stage.
