Matsumura is delighted to announce its next concert at the historic Kew Court House & Lock-up in Kew, Victoria, as part of the Jailhouse Concert Series 2025. SONOROUS (NZ) will play two powerhouse sets on Saturday, 16 August 2025, starting at 8pm.
Hailing from Taupo, New Zealand, Sonorous is renowned for their high-energy performances and a raw blues rock sound. This dynamic young show band has rapidly made a name for themselves locally and abroad, captivating audiences with their high-octane live shows.
Their sound is defined by passionate vocals, exceptional guitar artistry, and outstanding drumming which will astound you for band so young! π₯ But Sonorous is not wasting any time, having already made their mark at major festivals including New Zealandβs prestigious Summer Concert hosted by Greenstone Entertainment, and Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues Festival who have invited them back again in 2025. They have shared a stage with legendary acts such as Simple Minds, Collective Soul, Texas, Pseudo Echo and blues legend, Grant Haua. They attracted a standing ovation at the Matsumura Blues Festival in Mildura 2024.
