Details:
The walk will be presented by Chris Matts of the Woodland Trust,
and will delve into:
- new woodland (creation and natural regeneration) on site.
- the interactions with ancient woodland and what that is and means.
- UK sourcing of tree stock and biosecurity and Integration of livestock in woodlands.
- Particular focus on veteran trees and the new guidance document from the Trust.
- The format will take a similar approach to the recent RFS visit, but more technically focused on some specifics and features of the site.
