Bare Minimum clinic aka Fundamentals to Success
At Pear Tree Ranch we teach a basic list of ground work skills we call our “bare minimum.” We don’t saddle horses that can’t complete these 5 simple tasks, let alone ride one. The 5 things help us trouble shoot where does our horse need more support, a better understanding of pressure and how might they react to different pressures when it comes time for riding.
Once we can achieve these things with our horse on the ground, we have a step by step process to start riding your horse and achieve quality communication of basic skills horses need to be great riding partners.
With this bare minimum ground work and riding skills achieved we can be much safer, have more fun and be better prepared for achieving all our goals with our equine partners
✴️✴️The follow up clinic to this is called The “And Then” Clinic which will be held on January 24-25, 2026✴️✴️
2 Day Clinic held at Pear Tree Ranch in Citra FL
$550 includes the clinic, outdoor pen & a basic lunch (individual sandwiches or salads from Publix)
