Breakfast with the Queensland Treasurer

The Toowoomba Chamber and University of Southern Queensland - Australia are delighted to invite you to breakfast with the Queensland Treasurer, Hon David Janetzki MP
Treasurer, Minister for Energy and Minister for Home Ownership.

The Queensland Treasurer will deliver an overview of the State Government budget and respond to how the State Government budget addresses or not, the range of matters that the Toowoomba Chamber advocated for during the state election campaign, including:

• the application of the payroll discount to all the Toowoomba Local Government area;
• the creation of a regional infrastructure fund;
• increased infrastructure, food security and climate variation initiatives investment in rural areas;
• the implementation of a red tape taskforce and productivity commission;
• the creation of a one campus Tertiary Hospital at Ballie Henderson;
• housing reform; and
• reform and investment in training pathways.
