What is “Nerds in the Park”?
Nerds in the Park is a free event at the beach, It is a spiritual successor to Geek Meet, Ryan Ozawa’s annual meetup at Magic Island that ran for 18 years. It’s a free event to attend and to have a booth (sales are not allowed). Come share your passion!
Do you like to cosplay? Does your group promote STEM, ludosport, astronomy, drones, rubix cubes, lego, or LARPing?
Come down and grow your community or find a new hobby and make new friends.
Nerds in the Park is on Saturday August 2nd, 2025, from 10am to 2pm.. We will be having a plant share* and an ewaste drive**.
Rules:
No liquor allowed at this event.
You can grill but you need to set up outside of the event area.
Exhibitors may need their own COI (Certificate of Insurance), please ask.
This is a fun family friendly event, please no politics or religion.
We reserve the right to remove or refuse service to anyone, for any reason.
