The Bearded Dragon is thrilled to announce our third Regional Championship Qualifier in our ongoing series of FNM RCQs!
Why Friday?
We know that weekends can be packed with commitments, making it tough for some players to compete in qualifiers. By hosting this RCQ on a Friday night, we’re giving players a chance to chase their Regional Championship invite without sacrificing their weekend plans!
Imagine this: You crush the competition, secure your invite on Friday night, and get to relax and enjoy the rest of your weekend—no need to grind more events! Whether you’re aiming for the championship or just looking for a high-level competitive experience, this is your chance to compete, qualify, and celebrate—all before Saturday morning!
Event Details
Date: Friday, June 27th
Start Time: 6:30 PM (Decklists due by 6:20 PM)
Entry Fee: $50
Location: The Bearded Dragon
Tournament Format: Modern
Structure: Swiss rounds with a cut to the top eight. If there are 16 or fewer players, an additional Swiss round will be played, followed by a cut to the top four. Prize distribution will still extend to the top eight. If the event has more than 16 players, there will be five Swiss rounds with a cut to the top eight.
Prize Support (Capped & based on 32 Players)
1st & 2nd Place: $250 cash travel stipend, Regional Championship Qualification, Foil Fauna Shaman promo
3rd & 4th Place: $100 store credit
5th - 8th Place: $75 store credit
Top 8 Players: Two regular Fauna Shaman promo cards and a Top 8 pin
Winner’s Lanyard: Awarded to the highest-seeded finalist entering the elimination rounds
All Participants: Two Prosperous Innkeeper promo cards
Tournament Procedures & Policies
To ensure the event starts and runs on time, the following procedures will be enforced:
Decklist Submission: All players must submit their decklists in advance via email to VGhlQmVhcmRlZERyYWdvbkdhbWVzIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20= or in person at The Bearded Dragon by 6:20 PM. Late submissions may result in penalties. If multiple decklists are submitted, the most recent timestamp will be considered final.
Round One Pairings: Pairings will be posted exactly at 6:30 PM. All players must be seated, have submitted their decklists, and joined the event in the companion app by this time.
Companion Event Code: Players will receive the event code via email. Failure to join the event before round one pairings will result in a match loss for round one, and the player will be added for round two.

Pre-registration is required and can be completed at

Registration will close at noon on Friday, June 27th. In-person registration the night of the event will not be permitted.
