Beginners Fly Tying Class

Delta Fly Fishers will host beginners fly tying classes on four consecutive Wednesday evenings at the Nature Center, Oak Grove Regional Park, Eight Mile Road, Stockton. During August and early September Bob Fujimura will teach a basic fly tying course for those students who have little or no experience tying flies. The course will cover the basic skills needed to start tying effective flies independently and each student will complete their own flies in the four weekly classes and at home. The objective of this course is to allow participants to successfully tie new patterns on their own. Classes will be held at the Classroom of the Nature Center, Oak Grove Regional Park, Eight Mile Road, Stockton, on Wednesday evenings. There will be a course fee of $25 per DFF member or $35 per nonmember. Tying materials and loaner tools will be provided; however, students are encouraged to purchase their own tools.
