Savio Menezes e Silva's journey in entertainment began early, inspired by his parents, who are theater actors. This foundation introduced him to acting and eventually to folklore and partner dancing at a very young age. Over the years, he mastered various styles of partner dancing, earning first-place titles in numerous competitions. His passion for dance motivated him to pursue a dance teaching degree at the Federal Institute of Brasília in Brazil, where he also studied other artistic forms of dance such as Ballet and Contemporary.
While in Brazil, Savio taught a range of partner dances, including Samba, Zouk, and Argentine Tango. His deep connection to tango led him to co-found Brasília's first Argentine Tango Festival with his former partner. The festival continues to thrive, attracting world-renowned maestros and serving as a cornerstone for the tango community in the region. This dedication to tango teaching, performance, and community-building earned him a Prestigious Artist Visa to the United States.
After relocating to the United States, Savio quickly became a prominent tango instructor in his local community. He won first place in the Stage Category at the Las Vegas Tango Festival, solidifying his reputation as a talented performer within his first year in the new country. It was in Las Vegas that he met Miki Catherine, with whom he formed both a professional and personal partnership. Together, they now teach weekly, choreograph, and perform regularly in the vibrant Las Vegas dance scene.
