Week 7: Above & Below
From soaring birds and drifting hot air balloons to mysterious sea creatures and coral reefs, this week explores what’s high above and deep below. Campers will dive into mixed media projects inspired by skies, stars, clouds, waves, and underwater life—combining drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage in imaginative and adventurous ways.
Creative Growth, Skill Building, and Artistic Confidence
This full-day summer camp is perfect for curious and creative kids aged 8–10 who want to dive deeper into the world of visual art. Each week features a new theme that sparks imagination and offers plenty of opportunities to explore drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media.
Projects are designed to stretch creative thinking and build technical skills while remaining playful and experimental. Campers will also participate in group activities and art games, making each day dynamic and balanced.
Campers should bring:
- A nut-free lunch and two snacks (no fridge available)
- A refillable water bottle
- Clothes that can get painty, gluey, and messy
Cost: $350 per week (includes all materials)
