📣Join Us for the 3rd Annual Dolly Dash 5K Race for Reading🏃♀️📚
Proceeds directly benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of West Virginia—a program dedicated to serving children, providing free, high-quality books from birth to age five statewide, promoting early literacy, school readiness, family engagement, academic and lifetime success!
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025
Time: Race starts at 9:25 AM
Location: Ritter Park, Huntington, WV
Registration: Opens at 8:00 AM at the shelter near the playground
Family Fun Festivities: Begin at 8:30 AM with music, shaved ice, and more!
Best Dressed Dolly Contest: Judging starts at 9:00 AM with categories for Adult, Child, and "Doggy Parton" (pets welcome!)
Registration Fees:
$30 for participants aged 12 and over
$20 for children under 12
Register by July 31st to guarantee your commemorative t-shirt!
(You do not have to participate in the race to receive a t-shirt! Register to support the cause!)
Awards & Prizes:
Commemorative medals for 1st Place and Runner-Up in each age group
Prizes for Best Dressed Dolly in each category, including gift cards and passes
