In this 2-hour workshop you will learn the basics of how to weave and bend copper wire of different thicknesses into patterns and shapes and make your very own semi-precious stone pendant to take home. This is a skill that can be used for all kinds of jewellery, and art. It can also be applied to more precious metals such as silver and gold. Finish off by learning how to use sulphur to give your copper pendant an antiqued look.
Semi-precious stones will be provided to make your pendant, or you can bring your own stone (not too big), shell or even a piece of beach glass. All wire and tools are also included.
This workshop will be run at Kewarra Beach Community Hall, QLD. It is NOT an Online course.
This course is intended for ages 13yrs and above. Participants under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Minimum numbers of participants apply for the course to go ahead.
There is a maximum of 8 participants for each workshop so that my attention can be evenly shared.
Further details will be emailed to you prior to the workshop. It is very important that you provide the correct email address when purchasing, or else I will not be able to contact you.
