Serving Our Sisters and Brothers

The Mission Committee has scheduled an evening for serving residents of the Central Iowa Shelter on Mulberry St in Des Moines. Our date is June 30th. We serve from 6 to 8 PM arriving at 5:30 PM and will serve a prepared meal to our sisters and brothers at the Shelter. Due to the logistics and security of the volunteer experience the group sizes is limited to 12 servers. (Possible 15 if some serve water and pass out silverware). A sign up sheet will be available in the Fellowship Hall in June. Please sign up as soon as possible so that we can confirm with the CISS staff that they can count on us to be there to help feed our friends at the Shelter. Some carpooling will be arranged nearer to the date but you are welcome to drive there yourself, 1420 Mulberry St. Des Moines Iowa. Parking in the back of the building. Please let us know if you will be driving there yourself.
