Kalyn Fay (Cherokee Nation, Muscogee descent) is a songwriter and musician from Oklahoma, who fosters an additional interdisciplinary practice that interweaves visual arts, curation, and education. Born and raised in rural Oklahoma between Cherokee, Muscogee, and Osage territories, they are deeply rooted in their nuanced relationship to Oklahoma, and their musical practice is a reflection of that influence. Focusing on self-location, community, collaboration, and empathy, Kalyn sees their music as a way to lean into personal and shared narratives. Their songs embed Indigenous understandings associated with community and environment, navigatings the ways in which we all intersect with the hopes of building bridges of understanding between. Kalyn Fay’s music is “for you, for me, for us, for we.”

Laura Zarougian, transforms classic American imagery, a broken down car, a can of Narragansett beer, a faded leather jacket, into songs that are both rocking and heart wrenching. Her current release, New Used Car, takes you down back roads and Brooklyn sidewalks with stories that search for love and belonging.

Her debut album, Nayri (released in 2023), draws from country, folk, and rock, while lyrically exploring themes of her Armenian and Middle Eastern identities. She is especially drawn to her family's stories- displaced people whose voices are still underrepresented. She refers to this genre as "Armenian Cowgirl." Coinciding with the release of Nayri, Laura raised awareness for the refugees of Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh.

When she isn’t writing or listening to music, she is slinging vintage cowgirl boots and vinyl records with her husband and drummer, Michael Alan Hams, in New York’s Hudson Valley. DJ Aja Whitney of Radio Woodstock WDST named Nayri one of her favorite albums of 2023.
