Meet Bill Simpson, Head of Geological Collections and McCarter Collections Manager of Fossil Vertebrates, as he shares his experience with SUE from the very beginning of the project. 👨🔬
Bill will discuss examining the fossil prior to auction, the auction itself, preparation of the fossil, facilitating research on SUE, providing input on the mounting, re-mounting in Stanley Field Hall, unveiling live on morning TV shows May 17, 2000, and directing the dismantling, move and re-mounting of SUE in 2018. 📕
