Join us at Comfest to celebrate the Summer Solstice and honor the Zori!

TIME/LOCATION: we're back to our usual spot near the Live Arts Stage, but later than usual: 11:30!

The Zori are Slavic guardians, sisters who keep the palace of the Sun: the Morning Zorya opens the gates for his daily path across the sky, and the Evening Zorya welcomes him home as he sets. We their riotously beautiful colors at sunrise and sunset, and we see their afterimages throughout the day in the shimmering warble of sunlight and shadow. In the Eastern Slavic folk magic tradition, the Zori are the supreme power to whom magicians appeal; we will call on them in this ritual to send their protection down on our diverse, joyful community.

This is the most informal of all of our High Day rites, and a great place to come out and see what we're all about. Full details (incl. parking) at the event page on our website: https://threecranes.org/summer-solstice-comfest-honoring-the-zori/
