(Almost) every year for a nearly a decade songwriter E.G. Phillips has asked his friends from the Bay Area music community to fulfill his heart’s desire and perform his songs for the occasion of his birthday — a gift fortunately usually within the budgetary constraints of most musicians. For 8 years now they’ve delivered with grace and aplomb — and now we’re going for number 9.

The (mostly) annual E.G. Phillips birthday showcase returns to Bazaar Cafe’s backyard garden in San Francisco's Outer Richmond August 17th at noon. Come for the cake and ninja rubber duckies, stay for this unique local music community event.
