Doubles Tournament Rules
1. Teams shall consist of two bowlers, any combination of men and/or women. Bowlers must be USBC certified to be eligible to bowl. HOUSE SHOT for this event.
2. Entering Average: Highest 2024-2025 Winter/Summer Average. If none, bowlers will use a 220 avg. Average used for teams will be the averages of the two bowlers added up and divided by 2. HDCP is 80% Of 220.
3. Format: Scotch doubles. Each bowler will alternate each shot for each game. The team may choose who bowls first for each game. If bowler A bowls 1st ball of frame and strikes, then bowler B will throw 1st Ball of next frame. If bowler A does not strike, then bowler B will shoot the spare and will continue this way until bowler A throws a strike and vice versa.
4. Scotch Doubles 300 pot currently $ 255. Bowl a 300 in the tournament win the pot. Pot will start at $150 for the tournament. $5 buy in for chance to win. All money goes towards the pot for future tournaments.
5. Bowlers will use one lane courtesy during tournament play.
6. The tournament entry fee is $40 ($20 per bowler) $16 goes towards lineage, $24 prize fund. Cash prizes will be awarded in a 1:6. $320 1st place based off of 30 teams, $420 1st place based off of 45 teams, $500 1st place based off of 60 teams.
7. Wear a kilt during the tournament and receive a free drink.
8. Tournament director has the right to rerate any bowler and has final say. All other rules will by USBC.
