This is not just another horsemanship clinic, it is a breakthrough weekend for your horse!
The Rider's Foundation Master Class with Scott Purdum is a 2-day clinic where you will be give the tools to connect the dots and keep moving forward with your horsemanship journey, no matter where you are.
Whether you are working through fear, frustration, or just looking to fine-tune your skills, this clinic is for you. Each morning, each rider will work in a group session and will be going over the three main components of riding:
1. Seat Stabilization- how to effectively change the three main parts of your body to lower the center of gravity, open your hips for communication, and become more centered on the horse
2. Stability of Mind- how to effectively communicate between horse and rider and eliminate the fears under saddle
3. Unlock your Horse’s Potential- you will learn how to unlock your horse’s potential and help them become softer, more engaging from the hind end and moving more fluently.
In the afternoon, each rider gets a semi-private session with Scott that has more of a hands on approach where Scott will be able to give you a customized plan based on where YOU are in your training. These 1-on-1 sessions are where everything comes together and you will find your "ah-ha" moment where you will see your horse responding differently and everything you have been working towards begins to take shape.
Following the group session, you will have a semi-private session (times will be provided by Advantage Horsemanship) scheduled with Scott to focus on those 3 main components to further enhance the line of communication with your horse.
You will leave this weekend with more than improvement, you will leave with understanding the "why" behind everything you are doing with your horse, a more willing horse, and a plan to continue progressing through your horsemanship journey.
Example of what a typical clinic day looks like:
9:00AM-10:00AM Group Conversation
