I visited Afghanistan in May of this year, joining the increasing number of visitors to this beautiful country which has been in conflict for most of the past 40 years. The Taliban takeover after the US withdrawal in 2021 and their embracement of Sharia law is the obvious focus point for most media – but how does this translate into everyday life?
James was born in the US but has spent more than half of his life in Denmark, and has used this location as a springboard to visit more than half of the countries in the world. Halfway there!
