Ned Lucas has been playing and writing music for 40 years. He has made a living as a traveling solo folk performer (while living out of the back of a '48 Chevy pickup named Winslo Joshua Armageddon), worked as a carpenter, a physicist, an engineer, a chimney sweep, and as the frontman of an original blues/rock power trio. He plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar (behind his back if necessary), Hammond organ, piano, bass, harmonica, mandolin, banjo and a little fiddle. He has written and produced the music for 3 critically acclaimed blues/rock CD's with his band, The Ned Lucas Band, for the independent 3 snappers label. All have received airplay worldwide. But Ned writes and performs great acoustic music as well. He has appeared numerous times on the Cornell University radio show, Bound For Glory. Bound For Glory is the country's longest running live folk music radio show, which showcases only the best singer/songwriters touring the country today. He has also performed numerous times at the world famous Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville as part of their Best of Sunday music series. His originals can be found on all the major streaming platforms.
