Oregon Adventure Theatre Presents: The Winter's Tale

Oregon Adventure Theatre (OAT) presents one of William Shakespeare's most mysterious and romantic plays, The Winter's Tale.
In the first half of The Winter's Tale we follow King Leontes down a dark and jealous spiral that leaves his family, court, and country in ruin. Only to have the second half of the play pick up sixteen years later and show that love, community, and magic can rebuild the broken pieces of one man's folly. See one of Shakespeare's biggest fairy tales around a literal fire, with puppets, and Commedia Dell'Arte masks in one of the most beautiful settings in Oregon.
Bring your own blanket or chair for seating. Guests are welcome to pack-in their own picnic. No outside alcohol allowed, but don’t fret–we’ll have beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase. Get excited about the S'more you can make at intermission around the fire or the many fun prizes you could win during our raffle. Join the adventure and see Shakespeare in a brand new light!
Thank you to the Autzen Foundation for their generous support of this program.
Free for Friday, Saturday, with admission on Sunday.
Registration requested.
