This week, our topic is LIGHT!
Explore the ways we bend light to learn more about our surroundings! Participants will build periscopes and spectroscopes to explore light waves and images.
Summer STEAM is held on Wednesdays between July 4 and Labor Day. During each event, you can find STEM-based activities inside the museum. Activities are different each week and provide an entry point for visitors to learn about the museum's artifacts and exhibits. Summer STEAM provides active learning and exploration, inspiring creative thinking and problem solving for K-12th grade learners. Stop by any time between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to participate!
Themes and activities are subject to change.
