The LAHS History Fair returns and will be taking place on Saturday 5th July in the grounds of Oakham Castle in Rutland (postcode LE15 6DR) between 10am and 4pm.
This yearβs event will include an exciting mix of living history and re-enactments from numerous periods, talks by local experts and displays by heritage groups and societies from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. In fact, we have so many things happening this year, we are using two venues - the historic Oakham Castle and the nearby Rutland County Museum. (postcode LE15 6HW)
It will also be the opening event for the 2025 Leicestershire and Rutland Festival of Archaeology, in addition to marking 170 years since the founding of our Society in 1855.
Please come along and join us!
