Special opening of Tolhouse with the We are Witch project

Join us as we open the Tolhouse Gaol in collaboration with the We Are Witch project
We Are Witch is a collaborative needlework project developed and led by artist Ruth Dillon. The project honours the women condemned under the Witchcraft Act in East Anglia.
As part of the project, Ruth Dillon and Eleanor Dale are undertaking a pilgrimage, walking along the River Yare back to the sea in Great Yarmouth. Yarmouth is an important site in the history of the witch trials in East Anglia. Ruth and Eleanor will be making and wearing period clothing from the 1600's and will be joined by sound artist Charlotte Arculus, who ill document the pilgrimage
On Sunday 22 June Ruth and Eleanor will be at the Tolhouse discussing the walk and the project.
Included in museum admission.
