Linoclub is for everyone!
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced printmaker, you're welcome to join. Learn the fundamentals of linocut, or bring a project to work on each month. It's a space to grow your skills in a relaxed, supportive environment alongside like-minded creatives.
Yes, kids can join too!
In my experience, children aged 10 and over can handle lino cutting tools with a bit of guidance.
What’s included:
Lino, ink, paper, tools, and general art supplies.
Access to an A1 printing press (or learn to hand-print)
Use of a dedicated print room with a large inking table and drying rack
Informal guidance and tips throughout the session
Linocut is like making your own personalised stamp – you carve your design, ink it up, and press it onto paper. Simple and deeply satisfying.
These workshops are casual, creative gatherings focused on art, community, and shared learning. Feel free to bring your own lunch, or grab something from the local milk bar just a drive walk away. There’s also a nearby national park if you want to stretch your legs.
Cost: $50 per session

About the Facilitator
Samantha Thompson is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist and passionate regional arts advocate based in Victoria, Australia. With over 25 years of experience, she has exhibited in galleries across the country and internationally, producing 22 solo exhibitions since 2003.
Samantha’s work spans textile art, printmaking, mixed media, soft sculpture, and performance. Her bold lines, playful themes, and layered domestic scenes are influenced by a deep love of traditional textile techniques and family craft. Her recent series, Relationship to Play, invites adults to rediscover creativity and embrace playfulness in everyday life.
