Intermediate Wheel Throwing: Mastering Repetitive Forms

Class Experience
Take your pottery practice to the next level by learning how to throw consistent, repeatable forms. This intermediate series is perfect for students who are ready to move beyond one-off pieces and begin developing their own sets and cohesive bodies of work.



Students will choose a simple form to focus on - such as a mug, bowl, or tumbler - and learn techniques for achieveing uniformity across multiple pieces. You'll create a custom cardboard profile template to guide your throwing and use it to produce a matching set by the end of the course.



What you'll learn:

-Techniques for throwing with consistency.

-Creating and using profile templates.

-Measuring and adjusting forms for a cohesive set.



This class includes instructor demonstrations, personalized feedback, and hands-on practice. Prior wheel experience required. All tools and firings included.
