HERE WE GO, PARTY PEOPLE!
I know it’s a lot, but if you’re new, please read the entire post—it’s got a ton of good info.
The official 2025 Annual Party in the Cove is happening AUGUST 2nd!
Once again, we’ll gather to tie up the boats, toss out our life jackets, rafts, floaties, lily pads, paddle boards—and so much more!—to spend the day on the water with old friends, new friends, family, and maybe even a few strangers who’ll definitely turn into new friends. Let’s make memories and celebrate our love of boating and lake life!
📍 Location: Allens Creek, Lake Monroe
After last year’s incredible turnout, Allens Creek is sure to be rocking even harder this year. I didn’t get an official boat count, but judging from the aerial shots, it looked like our biggest year yet! Let’s keep the tradition alive and make 2025 even better—invite your friends, coworkers, family, and anyone who loves the water. Get as many people out as your boat can safely hold.
If you don’t have a boat—no worries! That’s what friends are for. Just make sure at a minimum your boat captain has:
-A full cooler for the day (food too)
-Plenty of life jackets
-Helping hands when joining the line
As the event has grown, it's even more important that we get anchored and tied up early to help hold everyone in place. If you’re new to Lake Monroe, Allens Creek is the spot. Someone will always be around to help guide you in.
If you were there last year, feel free to post pictures and videos to help hype the event—but try to keep posts relevant to the group. I’ll post occasional updates in the discussion feed as we get closer to August with more details for the day.
I’ve added as many past attendees as I could. If I missed anyone, I’m sorry—definitely not intentional. Facebook limits how many invites I can send out personally, so I roll it over from the previous year. Please share this event far and wide!
⚠️ Safety First!
As I say every year: Let’s make this an amazing event—but also a SAFE one—so we can keep this tradition going for many years to come. If you have any questions, send me a DM and I’ll do my best to help.
Thanks, everyone!
