Long before 14 Borden Avenue became the location of Silver Lake Brewing Project it was home to a livery barn serving the Walker House, the Alhambra silent film theater, and the Perry Herald. During brewery design and construction we discovered incredible artifacts from the building’s past lives. With a little detective work and imagination these treasures became historical markers in a story about one building and its village: Perry, NY. Cultural historian Amanda Graham and SLBP owner and architect Ryan Fitzsimmons (who are married, btw) share the images and objects of 14 Borden’s past and present. History buffs, beer lovers, and especially beer loving history buffs join us for a drink and a walk down memory lane...er um Borden Avenue.
