In 1883 travelling photographers Stevenson and McNicoll visited Bacchus Marsh and took photographs of the town and district. The images show people, shops, businesses, houses and farms. It is a rare example of a visual record of a community at a point in time in the nineteenth century. This talk will show many of the images and reveal the stories and history preserved by this set of images.
