Worldwide Swim Lesson Day at Rigby's Water World with WLSL: Water Safety Lesson

Join us at Rigby's Water World as we participate in the World's Largest Swim Lesson alongside global partners with WLSL! This event is an introduction to water safety and is FREE. Ages 2-10 years old and parents must be present. Space is limited!

The nation's top water safety and training organizations are joining forces to present The 15th annual World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children to swim to help prevent drowning. Mark your calendars, the official date for the 2025 World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ is Thursday, June 26th. In Summer 2025, waterparks, pools and other aquatic facilities around the globe will host local WLSL lessons in an attempt to make noise that Swimming Lessons Save Lives™!

Swimming is a life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning, the second leading cause of unintended, injury-related death for children ages 1-14. The World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ was created in 2010 by the World Waterpark Association to serve as a platform to help local community aquatic facilities and the many different national, regional and state wide water safety and drowning prevention organizations work together to tell this important story on a local and national level. This is a free event hosted by Rigby's Water World for ages 2yrs old to 10yrs old. Participants will meet in the waterpark plaza. Check-in begins at 8:30a. Participants will be divided by age/ability level. The class will begin promptly at 9:00am and end by 10:00am. Maximum number of partcipants is 150.
