Summer Solstice 2025

The Garden of the Crescent Moon will be celebrating the Summer Solstice on Saturday June 21st at the Covenstead. This a Family Friendly Event! We will meet around 5:30pm and will be doing a Workshop put on by Paula related to the Solstice theme of Death and Rebirth with our younger selves dying to make way for our wiser selves. There will be a story telling, a guided journey, a craft project and some Magick!! Please also bring a potluck item of some kind to share, the theme is fresh garden veggie salads, think spinach, asparagus, arugula, mustard, kale, new potatoes, leeks, basil, mint, lettuces, radishes, new carrots, peas, mushrooms, etc. Meat choices that are appropriate are preserved meats like smoked salmon or sausages, ground meat like lamb, pork or beef made into meatballs, loafs, cabbage rolls, pasties, egg rolls, dumplings etc. and fresh wild harvested meats like spring turkey, bear, even rabbit.. any fish or shellfish, shrimp, mussels scallops, etc., eggs done a variety of ways, or combine several of these for a tasty dish for Spring and early Summer treats. We will need desserts, snack items and drinks as well! Please bring your drums and musical instruments for around the fire and your lawn chairs and blankets too. Hope to see everyone here!
