Join local artist and long time faculty member Diane Fiedler to develop cloud making skills in watercolor and advance your skills. Clouds have it all - exquisite sculptural forms, tone & color variations, graphic intrigue, and spectacular light. Clouds can be the bass chord, or the soloist, in any painting. Explore multiple landscapes to experiment with like: a seamless graduated tone wash for dawn, explore lifting out towering cumulonimbus above a western prairie, create rainbow geometric light effects for an Arctic wilderness, and evoke a menacing thunderstorm approaching ocean sand dunes by mixing graphite & watercolor.
