Textured Bracelets - New Class!

This fast and fun workshop is ideal for beginners, but experienced students are also welcome to come make their own bangle!
Students will practice making a simple textured or polished bracelet in either copper or brass using heavy-gauge wire, then move on to making a 3mm wide flat silver bracelet from start to finish. They will learn measuring, texturing, soldering, and finishing techniques to make a personalised beautiful and wearable bracelet.
Students can choose their textures or stamps - this is perfect for stamping names and dates, lines of poetry, or giving a hammered, beaten finish. It's all up to you!
More experienced students may wish to make a wider bracelet using flat strip or extra bangles in silver wire. There will be a cost for extra silver wider metal, but the basic silver allowance is included in the course fee.
This is a taster class aimed at either providing a fun experience with a great result, or an excellent place to begin absorbing basic jewellery techniques for those wanting to pick up the activity.
The expected outcome for students is one bracelet in copper or brass and one bracelet in sterling silver. Additional bracelets can be made should time and the group's needs allow.
Course fee includes materials for the basic project.
Workshop fee $145, early bird $130 till 3 August.
Extra materials are available to purchase in the workshop or you can upgrade your silver to a wider strip and pay the extra.
