Kenny Rogers & Friends
Graham Toole felt like he’d hit the jackpot when he was called up in January 2019 to perform as Kenny Rogers with the Las Vegas Legends at Melbourne’s Crown Casino. With just nine days to prepare, he stepped in for the injured “American Kenny” and delivered 22 shows alongside tribute acts for Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Elvis, and more.
A seasoned tribute artist, Graham has spent 25 years honoring legends like Glen Campbell, John Denver, and Kenny Rogers. Music was always in his blood—growing up in a musical family, he joined a dance band at 12 and won a talent competition at 16, opening for a young John Williamson. In 2004, he received the Frank Ifield International Spur Award for his unique country style.
For a decade, Graham, his wife Leonie, and their children performed on the streets of Tamworth, even releasing an album together. Now, he’s content singing timeless classics. “The music transcends generations,” he says. “We love getting people to sing along—it’s all about sharing the joy of great songs.”
